NaNoWriMo 2016: Plantser
So it’s the most magical time of the year – time for NaNoWriMo! I’ve participated a few times, and won less than that, but I enjoy the feverish community feeling as everyone crams in just a few more words. And it’s much better to have a draft – crappy or otherwise! – than try to scrape the bottom of the words barrel.
This year I’ll be working on a target of 40k for my main work, then smash in a few chapters of ongoing things to get to 50k. I still have a lot – okay, all – of my prep to do, so I’ve been trawling for advice from those more prepared than I. All links from the #NaNoPrep tag on Twitter.
