Second Editions: Part 3

Second Editions: Part 3

And the last part for now! I hope! Honestly, this is exhausting…

HART OF WINTER has been rereleased to all stores with a new cover, new publisher (Tenebrosity Press), and the same content. Paperbacks will become available with the new cover in time; in the meantime, you’ll see paperbacks with the old Dreamspinner Press cover. You know the drill! It’s available in the usual places as of today 🙂

A holiday romance with snow, snuggles, and… stags?

Luc Marling is cursed to transform into a stag from sunset to sunrise, making him vulnerable to black-hearted collectors. Thanks to a family heirloom, Luc can contain the change—but the magic is starting to fade. Luc intends to live fast while he can and doesn’t care who he hurts along the way… until he meets Rob.

Rob Lentowicz accidentally broke the curse on a famous singer and became a magical reality-TV star. Tired of having to lie to protect his bank balance, and unwilling to destroy his family reputation with the truth, Rob runs away to France—and straight into Luc.

They navigate slopes, secrets, and each other. But are the feelings between them real—or just magic?

Featuring: cursed shapeshifters, inept cursebreakers, a meet-cute with bruises, snow-covered mountains, winter solstice celebrations, and the ultimate question—are skiiers or snowboarders better (at dancing on tables)?

Second Editions: Part 2

Second Editions: Part 2

As I mentioned in my post earlier this month, I’ve now (re)released Mage of Inconvenience and ‘Tis Pity He’s a Horse (formerly Pastures New), two books that had previously been released with Dreamspinner Press. Mage of Inconvenience is exactly the same text, while ‘Tis Pity has had some very light changes. They’re both available in the usual places as of today!

Cover of Mage of Inconvenience (v2)West is on the run from his werewolf pack, but if he cannot renew his magical defenses, he won’t get far. What he needs is a mage….

Julian is part of a wealthy and ancient family, and one day, his legacy will include his mother’s vast library of spell books—and the knowledge he needs to correct his past mistakes. But his inheritance comes with a stipulation: he has to be married before he can collect. What he needs is a husband….

West and Julian can help each other, and at first they don’t want anything further. But as they dodge meddling cousins, jealous rivals, and an insidious drug, it becomes clear that their lives are entwined in ways they never imagined—and they’re in greater danger than they thought possible.

Featuring: werewolves, magic, a marriage of convenience, an enchanted library, at least one explosion, and enough snark to sink a ship.

Cover of 'Tis Pity He's A Horse

After a successful career as Illustrious Ruckus, three-time winner of the British Open, James Kirby has hung up his saddle. His experience as a horse in the eventing world doesn’t exactly translate to two legs, and he’s struggling to move on.

James’s quiet days at the family farm with his sister, Matilda, are interrupted by Archie Ievins, a sports journalist visiting to interview Matilda and snap a few photos of Illustrious Ruckus. Archie quickly endears himself to the family and to ‘Ruckus,’ and James falls head over hooves—only to be brought up short when his ex-boyfriend threatens to expose James’s secret.

How can James start something new when he has four legs threatening to come out of the closet?

A quick post to note that Mage of Inconvenience and Pastures New, both first published with Dreamspinner Press, will be disappearing from online sale over the next few weeks as sites update. But don’t fret! (I know you were about to.) They’ll be rereleased with different covers in the new year, under the Tenebrosity Press umbrella (i.e. me wearing a disguise).

There will probably still be some of the paperback copies Mage of Inconvenience with the old cover lurking around, but I’ll be releasing a paperback edition with the new cover as well. Depending on your aesthetics, you’re more than welcome to plump for either! (Or, indeed, neither, as the case may be.)

In the meantime, Hart of Winter is my next release, on December 17 🙂
