After meeting Kent last week, today I want to introduce you to Hadrian.

Hadrian is an alpha wolf from London, who finds himself suddenly valuable after the RMS Titanic sinks in April 1912, taking many alphas and their seconds along with it. He is distinctly less than impressed when Kent turns up to abduct him, but quickly finds their fortunes are tied together. As they travel south, Hadrian is drawn to Kent and the mystery he presents, but they are from different worlds…

Hadrian is played by Damien Lewis, but more period drama and less Homeland. Hadrian is older than Kent, but in many ways has seen less. Here are three significant images from Hadrian’s story: a dissembled Luger pistol, which Hadrian threatens Kent with the first time they meet; the RMS Titanic, which changed Hadrian’s life; and, well. You’ll have to read the story to understand the significance of that last one!

With WOLF IN KING’S CLOTHING coming up for release on May 15, 2017 with Carina Press, I wanted to introduce you to the MC: Kent.

Confession: I love all my characters, but Kent is way up there in my favourites. He’s an angry mess with a tragic backstory and, for most of WIKC, a tragic frontstory. In a world of shifters and humans, Kent can’t find a place to call his own. He’s an outsider even in a world of outsiders, trying to make a place for himself as he moves with single-minded determination toward one goal: freedom. But it isn’t until meeting Hadrian that Kent dares to dream his future might contain more than claws and blood…

So here’s Kent as played by Miles McMillan, which is 50% the hair and 50% the gazing-into-the-distance. Kent doesn’t speak a lot, but there’s a lot going on in his head. What’s he thinking about? His collar. Escape. And – increasingly – Hadrian. But it’s going to be a hard fight if they want to be together!
